NEW YEAR, NEW CHAPTER
Our studio name alisch berlec hönow was closely connected to us as individuals and to our founding phase. In recent years, however, the studio has evolved and we decided to take the next step. From now on, we operate under the name H A N D.
In the design process, where thinking and doing are inseparable, the hand plays a special role: it thinks while it shapes, it comprehends and conceives. In an age of increasing digitalization and automation, the hand embodies what design truly is: a deeply human activity – determined by intuition, discernment, responsibility, and dialogue with the people for whom we design.
PS: And let’s be honest, H A N D is a little handier 😉
