We are excited to once again teach screen design and time-based media at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design, as well as typography at the Merz Akademie, this semester.
Website for composer Philipp Krebs who explores temporal and technical aspects of music, reflected in a systematic typography and subtle color changes.
Music consists of shifting nuances – subtle variations in pitch, rhythm, and timbre. Taken individually they may seem fragile, yet together they form a coherent whole. Ephemeral by nature, they exist only for a fleeting moment before dissolving again.
The site’s color scheme gradually shifts throughout the day, introducing a subtle but distinct visual dynamic that reflects the progression of time.
